My Year in Music

With Christmas around the block I'm very excited for this next one to spend it in company of my family after 3 years away from them, enjoying them and having a delicious dinner. I just can't wait to have my served plate with my Xmas punch.

I feel very blissful with life, everything that I lived all this time apart and the people that I met, I wouldn't change or regret any of the sacrifices that we had to do, experiences that it made me grew up and get over some fears that i might had but also to accomplished dreams that in my wildest dreams i never thought would be possible to do and some others that i didn't even know i had.
Every single day I learnt a lot even if i didn't go outside, I guess the school of life really took off there in our loneliness and far of the comfort of our parents home. To be patient and to be open minded even more that i already was to really think in how i am going to say some things and to take more serious the decision that each day we came across..

Appreciating little things like just talking face to face to my mom, or knowing that if an emergency happens there's your family one call away, the sun, even though i'm not a summer girl especially not in Mexico, in Quebec during winter i would get very sad because weeks would pass without a sunlight, in those days road trips were the cure and would bring me back to life even if it was a short one just to have dinner or so...
And what really makes me sigh about the people that i interacted with, is their cordiality, their experiences, the creativity all around, their ambition in life and always with in good spirit and that they always welcome you as if you were a dear old friend.

But the thing that i most enjoyed/miss/loved and truly hurts when thinking of it, is that you feel freedom in your bones, you don't feel invincible but just free to be whoever you are and that is a feeling to just laid back and relax about this, I NEVER in my life in Mexico felt that cozy feeling...

well, -why did you came back but soon my friends , soon. There are plans to visit wonderful cities in Mexico first and always wishing that the final destination to be Montreal, the city that lives in my heart. In the meanwhile I'm having a blast being here right now.

My special visit.

Hi♥

Played with Jesophi's logo a bit, I haven't paint or draw or anything to do with art this year, but well i been Really busy so it's not the end of the world, still when i got to sleep at night wish to have more hours during the day, more time, more focus.

I also did more stock for next weekend Pucespop fair, so exciting!

Shorts and flats just because the day was so beautiful.

Tacos LOVE

We went trifting and found on the sidewalk this sturdy table that we are gonna transform into a bench, I still have to make the pillow seats meanwhile it's covered with an Ikea fabric, and this yellow wood game kind of the skeeball game but with little baggies to throw into the holes, so charming and it was ONLY 4 bucks!

Found this huge log on the road that soon will be a side table, you'll see.

And this cute wooden mirror, 1$!

This weekend was so much fun I also went to visit some friends that live near the river (i forgot my camera though) then the view was amazing and the sun was shinning having drinks and talking about whatever, to latter have dinner and do laundry with them because I still don't have any appliances, it was one of those weekends that it's very chill and laid back, with no plan and you end up doing a lot of stuff, but you don't realize until it's over.

Next weekend, the fair!

Happy Friday y'all!!

It's been a while, right? i just want to say: I miss blogging!! My blogs are like my source to forget about my problems and just be happy, cheerful and just in way dreaming and sharing of course, i don't write a lot because i let images speak for themselves in the way they speak to me and that gives me the energy to keep going and creating and wanted to tell you that because, I'm just happy that i have this space and that you read me and listen to me. In other news... I moved t a new city and it's been kind of hard, truthfully and I don't want to get in to much details but just some highlights car broke down, 2 months to pay ahead of schedule, I have a pain in my hand because of the loading and stuff and lastly since our last apt was furnished , we have to buy all furniture including appliances, so a lot to digest in 1 month, but you know what?, at the second week I was just going with the flow, floating away.

The cool thing though is that... you know what it means....(?) guessed it? NEW DECOR!! I'm starting slow but I have so many ideas, I been ~~stalking~~ reading designsponge, apartmenttherapy, interior design tumblrs, and so and so, like nuts, I used to say : oh, when I have bigger apartment I'll decorate it the way i like it... so it looks like this is the time (WIN!) and I'm very very happy about that feeling of unexpected treasuries to come and to display, I know that is not gonna be Tomorrow or even in 2 months ready but its really exciting. I been downloading also a lot of decor photographs, very inspiring ;) and i'll be sharing them with you.

On the day of my birthday I was catching up on one of my favorite blogs WolfandWillow who it had a giveaway going on, I though this is awesome!! I always get excited when I see a giveaway as good a this one so I wrote my comment and a week latter I got an email from Nancy editor from "WolfandWillow blog telling me(!) that I had won the Iley giveaway, I W.A.S. literally moth open when I got the news and I now that I found a place for my goodies in my house I want to share.

If you have not visited both sites already you are in for a treat!

Iley is such an inspiring store which is run by the awesome Erin with a first class costumer service, for those of you who are in the search for new ideas to decor, new functional pieces that identify your uniqueness or if you have a decor project and you are in the need of the last modern or traditional touch Iley is for you. Each piece is carefully selected with love and care.

I chose two things the banana leaf tray, so lovely which is now on the corner table near the door, is the medium size, I think is a great size, it fits perfect on my table giving the look that I want, really cool one.
I use it just as decoration piece i don't want to start leaving objects on it just yet because i don't want to scratch it, altough it's a sturdy material.

Also you can fill it with little candles or even jewelry rings to sort of display them. I also got the Turkish hammam towel that I fell in love when i had it in my hands.

She's surrounded by friends who are all happily engaged or romantically involved and somehow, love escapes from Nora, until she meets an unusual Frenchman who helps her discover life beyond her self-imposed boundaries.

I think the story reflects something that most of us are going to experience someday, I mean in the way that there's a point in life that you ask yourself what's gonna happen?, whats next in my life? not just with love, it was a pleasure to watch it and I just adore the wardrobe on this film! Like the one when she is having lunch with her mom and the blue dress in the first scene, fresh, airy and adorable!

She is Sophie BT she blogs for Twik which is the a women's clothing collection at La Maison Simons if you are ever in Canada have to visit Simons it has a classy vibe but sometimes you'll find interesting things.

Check out her styling hair, I call it the "Montreal bun" I don't know if everybody wears it but I have seen a couple of girls wearing their hair like that, anyway is easy, you look okay and is comfy if you need your hair out of your face.

Love Exposure

Really good movie, I really enjoyed from begging to end I think is a must... ★ ★ ★ ★½ from ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
A impressive movie of love, family, religion, and sex with strong content, language, graphic violence (Japanese style). If you are into foreign movies this is for you.
I don't know if this happens to you but when I'm about to watch an old or foreign movie, I don't do that much of research because I like the expectation , the what is going to happen on the movie, the twists or different movie direction, dialog, story, different photography, culture etc. I love that felling, so I didn't do much of a search before so I could be hypnotized on every change of the story, which also is important to mention that it's a long movie 2hr or so, but really worthy one.

if you are wondering why do I have marshmallows inside the brown sugar is because they keep the sugar soft and fluffy forever...
